AA and NA at Christ Community

We are aware of the needs around our community. Some of those needs stem from substance abuse and addiction. If you are in need of assistance, please contact the appropriate people listed below.

AA:

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

A.A. meets at Christ Community on Thursdays downstairs at 7:00 p.m.

NA:

NA's earliest self-titled pamphlet, known among membersas"theWhiteBooklet,"describesNarcotics Anonymous this way: "NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We … meet regularly to help each other stay clean. … We are not interested in what or how much you used … but only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help."

NA meets downstairs at Christ Community UMC on Mondays at 9:00 a.m..
